Who are we?

The Female Economic Journalists Association (FEJA) is a non-profit organization and a prominent platform that represents over 100 professional female economic journalists across Nepal. Established in 2023, FEJA emerged as a response to the growing need for a unified voice and an empowered space for women in economic journalism. This platform supports women journalists from various media sectors—including print, electronic, and online media—to build their capacity, advance professionalism, and contribute meaningfully to the nation’s economic discourse. FEJA’s mission is clear: to provide a strong, collaborative space for female journalists, enhancing their ability to contribute to important economic conversations. It is not about fighting for equality with men, but rather about showing that women are equally capable of shaping and influencing economic narratives. The association provides a platform for women to amplify their voices and demonstrate their strength in the global media landscape, ensuring that their insights are heard on an international scale.
